well appointed Camp kitchen

Each AlaskaVan comes fully equipped with everything you’ll need to make any meal of the day. Our portable kitchens provide the ability to make coffee and simple meals inside our vans, while also allowing you the flexibility to take the kitchen outdoors to show-off your camp cooking skills. Of course, we always include a stove, teapot, french press, toaster, pots & pan, knives, cutting board, and spice rack. Did we mention all of this is included?

Full size bed with your choice of views

We’ve included all of the bedding needed for absolute comfort; 4 pillows, 2 blankets, 1 top-sheet, 1 fitted-sheet, and a mattress pad. Just swing open the back doors to frame the perfect Alaskan backdrop and take in the view. Every AlaskaVan is equipped with a comfortable, full-size bed oriented lengthwise to accomodate humans over 6’. This is what #alaskavanlife is all about. Solar panels of the roof of Alaskavans

SOLAR PANELS take advantage of the midnight sun

Unfortunately, you can’t always leave work behind while on vacation, and we get that. This renewable energy source helps provide power to the house batteries that power the auxiliary heater. It also provides enough reliable power to charge laptops, cell phones, or camera batteries, day or night.

Wait…did you say heater?

Yes we did! Turn on the auxiliary heater and feel the love. The Webasto Air Top 2000 provides reliable, forced air heat at the turn of a dial. Bask in the glory of ‘fireplace like’ warmth while drying out your hiking clothes after a wet hike. During the winter months you’ll be warm and cozy while the Northern Lights dance overhead.

Yeti Cooler with AlaskaVans sticker

2 Yeti coolers

Keep your perishables cold with a YETI Cooler quiver. The Yeti Roadie 24 and the Yeti Tundra 35 are perfectly sized for your Farm Fresh Matanuska veggies or a few locally brewed growlers. If you haven’t used a Yeti before, these coolers are truly amazing! After the initial cool down period, they’ll keep things cold until December. You might even buy one of your own after this trip. The AlaskaVans sticker automatically makes them 10 degrees cooler.

stay dry with the included awning

Alaska can have it’s fair share of rain. To prevent our guests from excessive exposure to liquid sunshine, AlaskaVans are outfitted with large awnings. You have the luxury of keeping dry while you are chillin’ at camp.

ProTip: Pick a campsite without a puddle outside the sliding door for best results.

*Awnings not included November thru April.
